Nomination Domination! MPOY Mick Blue Snaps Up 29 for 2018 AVN Awards
18 Best Scene Noms! Performer of the Year! 10 for Best Movie! Mainstream Star!
VENICE, CA – Nominations for the 2018 AVN Awards were announced at the annual RISE Adult Talent Appreciation bash and no one was surprised to hear Mick Blue’s name come up no fewer than 29 nominations, falling just short of his record 35, set in 2016, a record which may never be broken.
Eighteen of those scenes are for Best Scene performances, one is for Best Supporting Actor, as well as Male Performer of the Year, Mainstream Star of the Year, 8 for Best Movie or Best Series, as well as many others.
“I knew you would ask about the nominations and I have been thinking about it a lot,” Mick said. “I am so humbled and proud and it’s really hard to put into words. I do want to thank everyone who has helped, my wife and partner in BAM Visions Anikka Albrite, and our partner Maestro Claudio, as well as the great performances by the performers, Evil Angel for their guidance and distribution, Rising Star for helping get the word out. I know I’m forgetting people, but I want everyone to know how much we appreciate the help and, of course, if it wasn’t for the fans we wouldn’t be anywhere. We can’t thank everyone enough!”
